Other professional roles include working as a Psychotherapist within a University since 2004 and providing professional services within the voluntary sector.
I have a specialist interest in weight management and the treatment of problematic eating and am passionate about helping patients reshape their relationship with food. As an experienced Mindfulness teacher, I offer a range of Mindfulness Based Interventions, such as, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for recurrent depression, Mindfulness for Health (MfH) and Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living (MBCL), as well as Mindful Stress Reduction (MSR) and Mindful Resilience (MR).

I met my husband at an amateur dramatics society. I was the princess, he was the frog. The rest, they say “is history”. We married a long, long time ago in Denmark. We are both passionate about food. My husband loves baking and qualified for The Great British Bake Off and I am currently experimenting with fermenting foods (not husbands!). I specialise in finding tearooms that serve loose-leaf tea and delicious cake and, to counter this, practice yoga and Pilates daily.
