I have practiced ENT surgery since 2008 and obtained the Intercollegiate Diploma in Otolaryngology and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.
I undertake all aspects of general adult and paediatric ENT surgery. I have a particular interest in thyroid and parathyroid surgery being one of the few UK consultant surgeons to have completed the Royal College of Radiologists Training programme for head and neck ultrasound.
I am also one of the few ENT consultants to hold in Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
I perform more than a hundred thyroid and parathyroid surgeries per year and submit by surgical outcome data to the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons.
Having completed advanced UK and international training fellowships in head neck and thyroid surgery, I was appointed as Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital in December 2015.
In 2017 I was appointed as Clinical Lead for ENT and Audiology at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and in addition appointed as Chairperson of the Thyroid Cancer Multidisciplinary Team.
In 2018 I was appointed as Pathway Director for the regional cancer delivery network, London Cancer known now as the North Central London Cancer Alliance.
I am actively involved in training post-graduate doctors as a GMC certified Trainer. I am also a Personal Tutor at University College London Medical School.
