Mr Ted Burton
I am a high volume cataract surgeon performing over 700 cataract operations per year at Spire Norwich Hospital, Norfolk & Norwich Hospital and Cromer Hospital. Pre-existing refractive errors (long sightedness, short sightedness and astigmatism) can be corrected at the time of cataract surgery and reduce the need for glasses following the operation.
Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists

Research interests: Anaesthesia for cataract surgery and reduction of complications in cataract surgery narrow instrument sutureless vitrectomy.
Consultant Ophthalmologist, Cromer Hospital

As well as operating on over 1,000 patients per year, I try and maintain outside interests which include music (french horn and piano playing), kitesurfing and wine tasting!
