I studied medicine in London at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and then went on to train in urology in Bristol, Edinburgh and Oxford. I undertook specialist laparoscopic training in Germany. I have also trained in kidney transplant surgery.
I specialise in robotic surgery and general urology. I perform robotic urological surgery of the kidney and prostate. I performed the first robotic prostatectomy in Sussex in 2015 and helped bring the UroLift procedure to East Sussex. I performed the first UroLift procedure at Spire Sussex Hospital in 2017.
I have published research on bladder disorders, prostate cancer, and kidney disease. My clinical interests include prostate disease, erectile dysfunction, bladder problems and surgery for kidney diseases.
I believe that it is essential that patients have as much understanding and information as possible about their conditions in order to make their own informed decision about treatment. I therefore strive to ensure good communication with my patients and make patient choice a priority in any decision about treatment.
