I trained in medicine at both Oxford and Cambridge universities, then as a Registrar in Edinburgh and a Senior Registrar in Bristol. I gained further specialist training at Melbourne and Toronto universities. I was appointed as a consultant in ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery in 2000.
I have wide experience in ENT surgery, providing a full clinical service from simple ear wax removal and hearing tests, to the latest endoscopic techniques for diagnosis of nose, throat and voice problems. In addition I have a special interest in diseases of the nose and sinuses and provide the latest medical and surgical techniques, from grass pollen allergy desensitisation to endoscopic sinonasal surgery.

Special clinical interests: Diseases and disorders of the nose and sinuses including nasal blockage, catarrh, facial pain, nosebleeds, reduced sense of smell and allergy. Common ear problems including hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, ear pressure and wax removal by microsuction. All general ear, nose and throat problems.
