I trained in medicine at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities, then as a Registrar in Edinburgh and a Senior Registrar in Bristol. I gained further specialist training at Melbourne and Toronto Universities. I was appointed a consultant in ear nose and throat surgery in 2000.
I have a wide experience in ENT surgery providing a full clinical service for both adults and children, from simple ear wax removal and hearing tests to the latest endoscopic techniques for diagnosis of nose, throat and voice problems. In addition I have a special interest in diseases of the nose and sinuses and provide the latest medical and surgical techniques, from grass pollen allergy desensitisation to endoscopic sinonasal surgery.

Special clinical interests: Diseases and disorders of the nose and sinuses including nasal blockage, catarrh, facial pain, nosebleeds, reduced sense of smell and allergy. Children's Ear Nose and Throat Surgery - throat problems including sore throat, feeling of a lump in throat and voice and swallowing disorders. Common ear problems including hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, ear pressure and wax removal by microsuction. All general ear, nose and throat problems.
