Virtual consultations:
I am a consultant surgeon at Worcester Royal Hospital. I am primarily a specialist in facial surgery with my private practice predominantly focused on cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery. I am dedicated to perfecting my techniques and providing the highest standard of care with your safety and wellbeing as my top priority. I apply the most advanced technology in my clinical practice and have introduced new surgical techniques to achieve better outcomes for my patients.
I offer complimentary 15 minute one-to-one consultations for patients considering cosmetic surgery and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including dermal fillers and botox and assessment of facial skin lesions.
I am 'board certified', a fully accredited specialist and am on the specialist register with the General Medical Council. I am the Oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) Lead Clinician and Governance Lead for head and neck surgery for Worcestershire and Herefordshire. I hold both the FRCS (OMFS) and MRCS (Clinical Surgery in General) qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. I have been comprehensively trained in the UK and France. I graduated from Birmingham Medical School and undertook my general surgical training in the West Midlands. Subsequently, I embarked on specialist higher surgical training in the Northwest and was awarded my specialist intercollegiate FRCS Exam.
After returning to the UK, I was selected for one of the seven nationally awarded advanced interface head and neck/reconstructive microvascular surgery fellowships, where I developed skills in advanced reconstruction of complex head and neck defects. I have completed sub-specialist training in facial reanimation and total ear reconstruction –having trained with internationally renowned pioneers of these techniques in France. I am a core member of the specialist head and neck multidisciplinary team and a member of the specialist multidisciplinary team, managing skin cancer.
I was awarded the European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery Leibenger Prize, as well as the British Association of Maxillofacial Surgery travelling fellowship, to complete a craniofacial fellowship in Paris, where I refined my skills in modern aesthetic and plastic surgery procedures.
I have contributed to medical literature and have been invited to speak at several national and international meetings. I enjoy teaching and I am an instructor on the Paris plastic surgery course. I am involved in training higher surgical trainees, both in the UK and overseas.
