Endometriosis, Gynaecological cancer, Laparascopic surgery, Menopause, Menorrhagia, Menstrual disorders, Post menopausal problems
I attended medical school in Cambridge and London and developed an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology after undertaking a student pathology project. I worked in London and around whilst obtaining my surgical fellowship and membership of the RCOG. I undertook a fellowship in gynaecological oncology and a research thesis on cervical cancer at St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal Marsden Hopitals. I started in Addenbrookes, Cambridge in 1998 as a consultant gynaecological oncologist after working in Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne Australia.
I have wide experience in gynaecological surgery both laparoscopic and open and am well known for innovation such as short stay hysterectomy.
