I qualified in 1976 and trained in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I became a Consultant in 1988. My first post was in the only district hospital which was site specialised and I developed the breast team there. I moved to University College London in 2000 and headed the breast team until 2007.

My interests include sentinel node biopsy (I taught in the national training scheme) and reconstruction. I perform all aspects of breast surgery including augmentations (enlargements), mastopexy and reductions.
