Mr Richard Haywood trained at St Thomas's Hospital Medical School, London. From there he embarked upon his surgical training which took him from East Anglia to Oxford and the Midlands including a Fellowship in Cutaneous Laser Therapy at Bedford Laser Treatment Centre. After a very broad training in Plastic Surgery, a Specialist training post in Nottingham allowed him to develop special interests in Breast Reconstruction, Microsurgery, Oncological Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery.
Mr Richard Haywood was Clinical Director of Plastic Surgery Services for Norfolk and Suffolk for five years and is currently a council member for BAPRAS.
As a keen teacher he has always been involved in training other surgeons and teaches on Plastic Surgery Skills Courses at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
In private practice he is a member of Plastic Surgery Associates in Norwich.

Mr Haywood is a family man with two daughters. He sometimes feels hen-pecked but he realises he needs his girls to keep him in check!
He enjoys gardening, playing golf when time allows, and most other sports.
