After qualifying in 2001 I began my career at University hospital Aintree where I developed my skills and worked alongside a great team. I then worked at various trusts around the country working in orthopaedics setting up and developing services. Eventually I found myself back in Liverpool and employed by Liverpool Community Health in 2005, over the following 10 years I set up and lead a City wide falls prevention service, as well as cutting my teeth on National Service Development projects. Alongside this role I maintained my musculoskeletal skills working in a Sports Injury Clinic for 10 years. I then embarked on my next challenge and joined Spire Liverpool as Manager in February 2016.
I enjoy treating most conditions although my passion in MSK lies in Lower Limb injuries after suffering a cruciate injury myself in the late 90’s.
I am currently the Physiotherapy manager at Spire Liverpool.

Personal profile
After marrying my beautiful wife in 2006 we have 2 children who keep me both very busy and very active. When I do have time to myself I enjoy playing golf and play to a low single figure handicap. Travelling is another great passion of mine and with my sister living in Australia this gives me a good excuse to book a holiday and explore.
