Areas of interest include thumb base arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, ganglia, trigger digits, tendonitis, tennis elbow, golfers elbow, wrist arthroscopy, all wrist and hand fractures including scaphoid fractures.
I am an honours graduate in neurobiology and read medicine at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, graduating in 1990. My postgraduate training on the St George's Hospital rotation included a 12 month fellowship in hand surgery within the department of plastic surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.
I was appointed consultant orthopaedic and Hand Surgeon at Kingston Hospital in 2002 and have extensive experience in the field of Hand and Wrist Surgery.
I have carried out 10,000 hand and wrist procedures in the last 13 years as a consultant.
I am an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons.
