I received my ophthalmic training in the West Midlands and at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. I have worked as a clinical lecturer with the University of Birmingham (2001 to 2004). I am a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society (BOPSS) and European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (ESOPRS). I have published over thirty papers in the medical literature. I lecture nationally and internationally and teach techniques of modern oculoplastic surgery including endoscopic (keyhole) surgery.
I am a consultant eye surgeon who has completed additional advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery as it relates to the eyelids, eyebrows and surrounding structures. Eyelid and upper facial, lacrimal (tear drainage) & orbit (eye socket) surgery constitutes are my special interest. I undertake all aspects of upper and mid-face cosmetic surgery (blepharoplasty / lid lift, eye bag removal, brow lift, Mid-face lift) in addition to reconstructive, lacrimal and orbit surgery. I also have specialist training in the use of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers (Restylane, Juviderm etc). I am also an acknowledged expert in the rejuvenation of the tear trough area (dark circle under eyes, shift-workers eyes).
