Mike is a graduate from Southampton Medical School, who undertook postgraduate training in Cardiff, the Wessex region and in London at the Thrombosis Research Institute. More recently he was a clinical fellow in vascular and endovascular surgery in Adelaide, Australia.
In addition to the conventional management of arterial (carotid disease, aneurysms and limb ischaemia) and venous disease (varicose veins and ulcers), he has interests in endovascular and minimal access techniques (for hyperhydrosis) and the management of exercise induced leg pain. He also works closely with colleagues in highly complex artery and vein work in the abdomen.
He also has a major role in undergraduate and postgraduate education, as a teacher and an examiner.
