Consultant Oral Maxillofacial
I was jointly appointed as a Consultant to the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospitals in December 2009. I undertook specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on the South Coast Training Programme. I practice all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I regularly treat patients with both head and neck and skin cancer, and am a core member of these multidisciplinary team.
I have an interest in salivary gland conditions and treats patients with salivary stones, cancers and drooling problems. I am the visiting Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to Treloar School in Hampshire. I am the author and co-author of numerous publications in specialist journals, and have presented research papers at national and international meetings. I have served as an elected trainee member on the Specialist Advisory Committee in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and as part of this role presented to the Postgraduate Medical Education Training Board review into the future of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
I am a committed teacher and trainer, and regularly deliver educational talks to local dental and medical practitioners. I frequently instruct students as part of Advanced Trauma and Life Support programmes.

I live locally in Hampshire and offer a relaxed, friendly and professional service. I have a young family and enjoy all sports. I play reasonable squash and moderate golf!
