My ophthalmic training was undertaken in the West Midlands Deanery, with an additional three years as a clinical research fellow with prestigious funding from the Welcome Trust to complete research into Thyroid Eye Disease (Graves' orbitopathy) and gain a doctorate (PhD).

I undertook advanced sub-specialty training in Oculoplastics at Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, followed by Oculoplastic surgery fellowships at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.
