Mr Marcus Hedley
"Spire Leeds Hospital has first class rehabilitation gyms and equipment. Including our Alter G anti-gravity treadmill, which is fantastic for assisting patients to return to sport or their hobbies."
Since graduating I initially worked for the Mid Yorks NHS before moving to the private sector across West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and then London to a prestigious physiotherapy and Pilates company building my knowledge and specialism as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
Prior to qualifying as a chartered physiotherapist, I completed a BSc honours degree in Sports Science at Loughborough University, enabling me to apply this knowledge to physiotherapy.
As an ex-England schoolboy footballer and a single handicap golfer, I'm passionate about sports injury management and having worked as a physiotherapist in professional football and with the Northern Ballet for the last four years I appreciate the needs of the high level sports person.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Marcus Hedley at Spire include:
Sports injuries, spinal physiotherapy, golf injuries and rehabilitation, strength and conditioning rehabilitation, sport related return to play.
