I trained for six years as a specialist in orthopaedic surgery in the South West Thames region. Thereafter I underwent two years further fellowship training in hand and wrist surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and shoulder and elbow surgery at the St George's Shoulder Unit. During my fellowship training I obtained the British Society of Surgery of the hand diploma in hand surgery.

As well as non-trauma patients, as a member of the major trauma centre team at St George's, I also treat complex fractures and injuries of the upper limb. 

I also treat children and young people from the age of 13 to 18 years old.

I am an honorary senior clinical lecturer at St George's Hospital Medical School, University of London. I am a reviewer for the European Journal of Hand Surgery.
