I undertook my surgical training in Leeds, Newcastle, Copenhagen and Oxford after which I was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic and Hand Surgeon to Sunderland Royal Hospital in 1999.

My areas of particular expertise are hand, upper limb and general trauma conditions. I have further special interests in disorders of the wrist, overuse syndromes, WRULD and rheumatoid hand disease.

I can see children for consultations only at Spire Washington Hospital.
