Professional profile

Lee graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2012 and in 2014 completed further training to become a registered acupuncturist with Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists. At Spire Norwich Hospital Lee specialises in post-operative and out-patient care for orthopaedic patients, this includes one to one assessment and treatment sessions but also the running of a weekly exercise class for total knee replacement patients. He also uses his knowledge and passion for cycling and biomechanics (the way the human body moves when undertaking activity such as running, cycling etc.) to enable a safe return to the sport for all his appropriate patients. Lee's previous career as a precision engineer aid's with his systemic approach to diagnosis and treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including lower back pain, runners knee and shoulder problems.

When not at work Lee enjoys participating in a wide variety of sports such as gymnastics, hockey and rock climbing and also spends time in his workshop designing and fabricating adaptive cycling equipment for people with disabilities.
