I have been a consultant for the last twelve years at Cardiff. I have expertise in trauma and lower limb arthroplasty. I provide tertiary referral service to five hospitals in South Wales in pelvic and hip socket conditions.
I specialise in hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery and pelvic and SI joint surgery as well as being fellowship trained in complex trauma surgery.
To date I have carried out approximately eight hundred total hip replacements, one thousand knee replacements, three hundred SI joint fusions, more than one thousand knee arthroscopies and many thousand fracture operations.
I am the Trauma Lead of Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. I am a member of the specialist training committee and a member of major trauma board.
