I am a consultant ENT and thyroid surgeon at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. I graduated from King's College Hospital, London and undertook my specialist training in South East England. I received advanced training in nasal reconstructive and endoscopic sinus surgery at Guy's Hospital, London, and in thyroid surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

I have particular expertise in paediatric ENT surgery, receiving training at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. During my higher surgical training I undertook further research at Imperial College, London, distinguishing myself in my research into the use of three-dimensional image manipulation in rhinoplasty.

I am experienced in carrying out a wide range of procedures on the ear, nose, throat and neck and manage all general ENT conditions. I have a specialist interest in problems of the nose and sinuses, allergy, voice disorders, children's ENT problems, thyroid disease and snoring.

I am interested in the collaborative management of patients with complex disorders of the nose and sinuses, working with both consultant maxillofacial and ophthalmic surgeons, using computer-assisted navigational surgery in especially difficult cases. I am a member of the West Kent Cancer Network in Thyroid Oncology and manage benign and malignant conditions of the thyroid.

I have also published research in national and international peer reviewed journals on a wide range of ENT topics, and have presented at international conferences. I am an enthusiastic teacher and am responsible for the training of higher surgical trainees.
