I qualified from Liverpool Medical School in 1990 and trained at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and St Jame's Hospital in Leeds before returning and being appointed as Consultant Ophthalmologist at St Paul's Eye Unit in 2001. My main interest outside of medicine is my family, I'm married with 3 children and continually fight against the perils of modern media to encourage a love of outdoor pursuits and cycling. As well as the intermittent football trick I enjoy enlightening them with an eclectic mix of music from Andrea Bocelli and the Buzzcocks through to the Zutons.Back to top
