Mr Gerard Lambe
Consultant Plastic Surgeon
MB ChB, MD, FRCS (Plast)
I am a consultant plastic surgeon working at the Christie Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where I lead the risk reducing breast service. I qualified from Liverpool University in 1995 and I have completed further training around the world including New Zealand, Australia and Taiwan. I was appointed as consultant at the Christie Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2013.
My private practice encompasses all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery including cosmetic surgery of the face, body and breasts. This complements my broad NHS practice. I also have extensive experience in skin cancer and I am happy to consult with patients who require this service also.
I am a fully accredited plastic surgeon and, as such, I am entered into the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register for plastic surgery.
I specialise in all aspects of aesthetic surgery and really enjoy the art and science behind helping my patients achieve their goals.
I am the lead for education in the plastic surgery department at the Christie Hospital and enjoy training young surgeons across the North West and medical students.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Gerard Lambe at Spire include:
3D virtual reality breast technology - Having a breast enlargement or a breast reconstruction is a big decision and part of that decision is which size implant to choose. Now, using 3D scanning software on handheld devices coupled with virtual reality goggles, you can try on different implant sizes virtually and really experience what you will look like with that size implant.
Virtual reality technology allows you to see several views as if looking in a mirror and, best of all, you look downwards and see what the real view of your new breasts will be like!
