I have been a consultant surgeon at Good Hope Hospital for the last 16 years. During this time I have provided planned and emergency surgical treatment for the local population. My specialty expertise includes both Colorectal surgery and Upper GI surgery covering a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions with a particular interest in gall stones. I have a keen interest in the delivery of quality services including the role of audit, clinical governance and outcome measurement. This has led to the position of Upper GI cancer lead to my role as Clinical Director of General Surgery at Good Hope Hospital from 2004 until the merger with Heart of England Foundation Trust in 2007.
