Mr C Jamie Woodhead
Consultant ENT surgeon
I am a consultant ENT surgeon based in Leeds. My practice covers all aspects of ENT, head and neck and thyroid surgery. My philosophy is to ensure that consultations are conducted in a friendly but professional manner, with full explanations of the patient's condition and any proposed treatments. I maintain my continuing education by regular attendance at professional meetings.
I qualified from Birmingham University in 1982, and undertook my ENT training in Birmingham, Leicester and Yorkshire (including a spell in New Zealand). I became a consultant in Leeds in 1995. The majority of my patients are treated as outpatients, but I have a weekly operating list for all aspects of adult and paediatric ENT surgery, including thyroid surgery.

I have been married since 1980 and have three children, two of whom have now left home for further education.
I play the piano and keyboard regularly and I'm part of the music group at my church - I'm sometimes even called upon to sing!
I try to keep fit by playing football twice a week, and enjoy sailing dinghies and yachts. I am also a keen collector of Swedish philately, something my family fail to understand!
