I qualified in 1978. After four years specialist training I qualified in adult general surgery in 1986. I then studied a further four years in paediatric surgery. I specialised in paediatric surgery in 1991. For two years I was actively involved in war surgery for both adults and children. I am a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. My practice is general paediatric surgery with special interests in inflammatory bowel disease, Hirschsprungâs disease and congenital anomalies.
