My main areas of expertise include general gynaecology and menorrhagia and have been at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital since December 2008. I have a wide experience in outpatients hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation procedures, which can avoid hysterectomy. My areas of working includes surgical management of prolapse. I perform a wide range of gynaecological surgeries including laparoscopic (keyhole) and hysteroscopic procedures.

I have interests in medical teaching and have been a Senior Lecturer at UCL for medicine. I train post-graduate students for Royal College Courses and regional skills/ultrasound courses. I am an instructor for managing obstetric emergencies and trauma.

I primarily trained in India for my Basic Medical Degree (MBBS) and post-graduate training and qualifications (MD, DNB, FCPS) in gynaecology and obstetrics. After working as a lecturer/consultant at one of the leading medical colleges in Mumbai. I further trained in the UK and Australasia, where I achieved expertise in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic procedures and in ultrasound scanning. I have also worked at Addenbrookes and Ipswich Hospitals as a consultant.
