My specialist clinical interest is in Foot and Ankle Surgery and I work closely with podiatry, orthotics and physiotherapy to ensure my patients receive the best possible advice on their foot and ankle problems.
I am a consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at the University Hospitals South Manchester, Wythenshawe. After graduating from Manchester University Medical School, I undertook postgraduate training here in the North West and qualified as a specialist in orthopaedic surgery in 2011. I have completed a nationally recognised Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, as well as completing an AO trauma fellowship in Brisbane, Australia.
I have an MSc degree in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University and have presented my research nationally at the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society conference, as well as publishing in leading orthopaedic journals. Interested in education, I am currently studying for a diploma in Medical Education from the University of Dundee and participate in many of the foot and ankle courses for trainees in the region.
I practice at Spire Manchester Hospital as well as their clinic in Hale, Cheshire.
