Jessica Higton qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Southampton University in 1999. She completed her junior rotations in Oxford after which she specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy by taking a senior post at University Hospitals Bristol. While working there, she gained extensive knowledge and experience of treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
She enjoys treating all musculoskeletal conditions and has a special interest in Occupational Health. She worked within this field for five years before joining Spire Gatwick Park Hospital in April 2012.
Jessica is a member of the Musculo-skeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). The MACP is a group of over 1,100 Physiotherapists who have undertaken extensive postgraduate study and have reached a recognised standard of excellence in neuromusculo-skeletal Physiotherapy. Their knowledge and practical skills ensures that all MACP physiotherapists are able to provide an excellent standard of care in examination, treatment and management for people with neuromusculo-skeletal problems. Jessica also practices acupuncture and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
