Dr Ursula Davies qualified in medicine from St Bartholomew’s Hospital. She carried out her post-graduate SHO training in London teaching hospitals, including Bart's, Kings and The Royal Marsden. Dr Davies was a registrar in rheumatology at the MRC clinical research centre at Northwick Park hospital, where she undertook her research in growth retardation in children with juvenile chronic arthritis. Subsequently she was senior registrar in rheumatology and general internal medicine on the West London rotation (Charing Cross, Westminster, St Mary's and Roehampton hospitals).
Dr Davies was appointed Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist at East Surrey Hospital in 1994. She has a special interest in post-graduate medical education, in which she holds a Master’s degree. Dr Davies is Royal College of Physicians tutor at East Surrey Hospital, and General Internal Medicine Lead for KSS Deanery.
She has extensive experience in a wide variety of rheumatic disorders and private patients can expect a personal empathetic service.
