I qualified in medicine from St Bartholomew’s Hospital and carried out my post-graduate SHO training in London teaching hospitals, including Bart's, Kings and The Royal Marsden. I was a registrar in rheumatology at the MRC clinical research centre at Northwick Park hospital, where I undertook my research in growth retardation in children with juvenile chronic arthritis. Subsequently I was the senior registrar in rheumatology and general internal medicine on the West London rotation (Charing Cross, Westminster, St Mary's and Roehampton hospitals).
I was appointed Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist at East Surrey Hospital in 1994. I have a special interest in post-graduate medical education, in which I hold a Master’s degree. I am a Royal College of Physicians tutor at East Surrey Hospital, and General Internal Medicine Lead for KSS Deanery.
I have extensive experience in a wide variety of rheumatic disorders and private patients can expect a personal empathetic service.
