I treat patients with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus and polymyositis, back pain, tennis elbow, shoulder problems, fibromyalgia and osteoporosis, arthritis, auto-immune disease, fibromyalgia and vasculitis. During a consultation I identify the various factors in rheumatic complaints. I also carry out steroid injection techniques.

I studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and then worked at teaching hospitals in London including University College Hospital, the National Hospital for nervous diseases, the National Heart Hospital and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School. I undertook research in Colorado and at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory USA and was an author of about 90 articles. I was a consultant at Manchester Royal Infirmary for 22 years.
