After completing my general radiology training at the Royal Free Hospital (London) with neuroradiology training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (Queen’s Square, London) and Great Ormond Street Hospital, (London) I undertook further diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology training as part of the pan-London Neuroradiology Fellowship. Working in leading hospitals and neuro-sciences centres, including Charing Cross Hospital, King’s College Hospital and St George’s Hospital. I am now a substantive Consultant in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at King’s College Hospital.
I perform most aspects of brain and spine imaging, with particular interests in neuro-oncology (brain tumour) imaging, stroke (imaging and treatment) and neurovascular (brain aneurysm, brain/spinal cord vascular malformations) imaging and their treatment. I see patients with brain and spinal cord vascular abnormalities, for discussion and treatment under a joint neurovascular multidisciplinary (neuroradiology, neurosurgery and neurology) set-up.
I lecture extensively, both within the UK and abroad.
