I was appointed Consultant in diabetes and endocrinology at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in April 2008. Prior to taking up this full-time appointment, I worked at both St George's Hospital and Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust as a locum consultant.
I qualified in 1995 from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and completed my specialist training in the SW Thames region. During my training he developed an interest in cardiovascular diabetes and obesity. I also have an interest in thyroid disease and completed an MD in 2007 at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research.

Masud takes pride in ensuring all of his patients are well informed of their diagnosis and management plan through active engagement. Masud is a keen sportsman and golfer and takes every opportunity to improve his handicap! He has a passion for cricket and skippers his local Sunday team.
