MB BS MRCP
I am a consultant physician and gastroenterologist at the Conquest Hospital, Hastings. Having qualified in 1984 at Westminster Medical School, I continued my medical training at The Kent and Canterbury Hospital, Conquest Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital, London. I was then a research fellow in gastroenterology at St Thomas' Hospital investigating the treatment of helicobacter pylori, in particular, the effects of metals. Following this I took a senior registrar post in medicine and gastroenterology in Swansea and Cardiff.
My special interests are in endoscopy, nutrition, dyspepsia and peptic ulcer disease. I have published research on treatment of non-ulcer dyspepsia, treatment of helicobacter pylori, trace metal absorption and causes of abnormal liver function tests.
