I took my first medical degree in Cambridge in 1985 and completed my clinical training in Oxford in 1988.
I subsequently trained in Paediatric Neurology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, and specialised in paediatric muscle diseases in the Dubowitz neuromuscular centre at the Hammersmith Hospital, London.
I have been a consultant paediatric neurologist for 10 years at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, running the paediatric muscle service and supporting a busy general paediatric neurology and neurosurgical unit.
I see children of all ages with neurological problems.
