I have been working with children since qualifying as a doctor in 1993. I completed my higher specialist training at Evelina Children's Hospital, London and other teaching hospitals in South East London. After gaining entry into the GMC’s specialist register in 2008, I joined as a Consultant Paediatrician at Maidstone Hospital at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury, Kent. I have a special interest in Paediatric Cardiology and Nephrology with close networking with cardiologists at the Royal Brompton Hospital London and the nephrologists at the Evelina Children's Hospital London.

I regularly teach medical students from King’s College London and St George’s University London. I am a visiting lecturer at London South Bank University. I teach Paediatric Simulation and Resuscitation training for medical students and junior doctors. I am a qualified instructor for European Paediatric Life Support course. Being a father helps me to view the children’s problems from the parents’ as well as the children’s perspective.

I provide a comprehensive and holistic paediatric consultation incorporating investigations, treatment, advice and ongoing care for all kinds of medical and developmental problems in infants, children and adolescents.

I am a founding member of a UK registered charity PUNCH (Physicians United For Child Health), which aims to relieve sickness and to rehabilitate sick children. We provide and maintain medical equipment and offer training to medical, nursing and paramedical staff. I am involved in fundraising activities for PUNCH. We also fundraise by organising training courses in the UK for paediatricians and specialist nurses.
