Professional profile

I completed my medical studies at Leeds University in 2001 and went on to gain an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine from Nottingham University.

I have specialised in sport and exercise medicine since 2010 and I am currently head of medical services for Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire Carnegie Rugby Clubs.

Previous elite sports medicine roles include providing medical services to the Rugby Football Union and the Football Association. I was also selected to be the team doctor for Team GB at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in 2013.

During the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games I worked as a sports medicine doctor and was the Field of Play Recovery Team Leader at the aquatics centre and basketball arena.
