Professional profile

I provide person centred, holistic care in assessment, diagnosis, management and continuing care of people with complex disorders. I provide the highest level of care and expertise in caring for adults with movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease.

I trained in medicine, neurology, psychiatry and geriatric medicine in five major teaching hospitals before coming to North wales. I am recognised nationally for my expertise in the management of Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders in adults.

Personal Profile

I have practised in North Wales for 23 years as a consultant having established the first specialist centre for Parkinson’s disease in Wales.

 I have many national roles in my speciality in addition to an active interest in research.

 I am obsessed by classic boats and sail out of Pwllheli.  I have four children and am married to a GP.
