I have expertise in occupational lung diseases including occupational asthma and asbestos-related lung diseases.

I have continued to manage a wide range of respiratory conditions including particular interests in interstitial lung diseases, cough and dysfunctional ventilatory disorders.

I was appointed to the post of Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor (Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board) in 1989. I am currently responsible for acute and emergency inpatient respiratory care and clinic-based respiratory treatment.

I have published widely on respiratory conditions, particularly in treatment aspects of asthma and COPD, pleural infection and lung cancer. I was the lead for hospital lung cancer MDT from inception in 2004 until end of 2013.
