I provide an opinion to patients with chronically painful conditions including advice on medication, non-medical methods of pain management and the use of various interventional procedures - for example epidural and other spinal injections.
Typical conditions I provide help with include low back and leg pain, neck pain, pain after surgery and complex regional pain syndrome.
After graduating from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne I received training and experience in anaesthesia and pain management techniques in the North East, Yorkshire and in Michigan USA before holding a Consultant Post in Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Leeds Teaching Hospitals from 1995 until 2020.
