I qualified at St Bartholomew's Medical School in 1986 and after a period of research examining myocardial ischaemia and reperfusion at St Mary's Hospital and Imperial College completed cardiology training at the London Chest Hospital before being appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Ashford and St Peter's Hospital and St George's Hospital in 1996. I continue to treat patients with general cardiac conditions, but specialise in coronary and carotid intervention, maintaining a research interest.
I also sit on the Board of Directors at Ashford and St Peter's Hospital as Medical Director.
