Dr Catriona Hunter

I graduated from The University of Aberdeen in 2011 and completed my foundation training in multiple hospitals in the South East of Scotland before commencing GP training in 2013. During this time I completed posts in general medicine, general surgery, paediatrics and obstetrics/gynaecology.

During my GP training I completed additional qualifications in children’s health and women’s health/family planning. Since completing my training I have worked as a GP in Edinburgh and the Lothian’s as well as providing emergency care in the unscheduled care service. More recently I have also taken on a role supporting the Scottish Ambulance Service as a clinical advisor. I thoroughly enjoy working as part of a team and am also involved in the training of nurse practitioners and trainee GPs in my roles.
