Any general medical problems that appear to be impacting on a child’s health following discussion with your GP. Respiratory conditions including recurrent cough and wheeze e.g. viral related wheeze and asthma.
Gastroenterological (bowel) conditions including constipation/diarrhoea/soiling, abdominal pain, irritable bowel disease, coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux, cow’s milk and lactose intolerance.
General problems e.g. general infections, headaches, funny turns, seizures, palpitations, heart murmur, eczema and other skin conditions, allergies, joint swelling and pains, chronic fatigue, urinary tract infections, bed-wetting and bladder instability.
I provide outpatient clinics in general paediatrics (newborn to 16 years) at the Spire Alexandra Hospital. I have a regular clinic on a Saturday morning but can see patients at other times by arrangement via secretary. I also provide support to the hospital for inpatient care for patients admitted for surgical procedures. I can provide care for a wide range of problems and can integrate care if specific referral is required to other specialties.
