Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Ajaiya Mull at Spire include:
Anaesthetics: Obstetric anaesthesia
Dr Mull was mainly educated in Germany and graduated from the Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt/Main in April 1990. He trained in Anaesthetics in England (South-coast) and Germany, and qualified in 1998. In February 2006 Dr Mull joined the James Paget Hospital as a Consultant Anaesthetist. As his job plan is very variable he has been able to maintain his clinical skills for a variety of surgical specialities.
Since the summer of 2006 he is the 'Lead of Equipment' and has been able to purchase and introduce essential equipment. He issues a monthly electronic newsletter to inform all relevant groups of any changes regarding anaesthetic equipment.
For the Obstetric Anaesthetists Association (OAA) Dr Mull has translated their booklets 'Pain Relief in Labour' and 'Caesarean Section-Your Choice of Anaesthesia' in to German and they are available for the general public to view on their website.
