I had my training in general Medicine in Whittington Hospital in London before taking up Neurology at Queen Elizabeth University Teaching Hospital in Birmingham and at St Mary's Hospital in London. In 1983 I was appointed as senior Consultant Neurologist in the Ministry of Health in the United Arab Emirates. In 1996 I was appointed as Senior Consultant Neurologist at Southend University Hospital, and until 2010 I was the lead consultant for the treatment and management of Multiple Sclerosis and headaches with Migraine.
I have gained extensive experience in General Neurology with a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis and Headaches. I was responsible for establishing neurological service in Abu Dhabi, UAE with neurophysiology and neuro-radiology support.
I welcome appropriate patients wishing to refer and pay for treatment themselves without the need for a GPs letter of referral.
