I am based in South Wales and consult in Cardiff as a senior plastic surgeon with many years' experience in leading a dedicated team of plastic surgeons, nurses and support staff to deliver the safest and highest quality of patient care.

I aspire to achieve the highest and safest standards of care via a Consultant-based practice. I believe in an individualised and holistic approach to aesthetic surgery and treatment. If a treatment is not right for you, then it will not be offered. It is important you develop a close and trusting relationship with your surgeon. Your initial consultation will be with me, as will all follow-up consultations. I will perform any surgery personally. I insist on a second (free of charge) consultation to ensure that all decisions that have been made are the right ones and that you have the opportunity to adequately think about all treatment options and understand any risks prior to going ahead with surgical treatment.

Frequently performed procedures include breast enlargement (including all varieties of major implants), breast reshaping, breast reduction, breast uplift, body contouring after weight loss, abdominoplasty (mini and full), liposuction, brachioplasty (upper arm reduction), thigh lift, facial rejuvenation, blepharoplasty and prominent ear correction.

Non-surgical ways to improve appearance are becoming increasingly popular. I use a wide range of products in a holistic manner, with or without surgery. The most popular treatments include facial fillers and Botulinum toxin treatment for wrinkles. Being an individual you are unique. I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1990. After a distinguished period of surgical training in the United Kingdom at several major teaching hospitals in Wales, Birmingham, Manchester and Sydney, Australia, I was appointed as a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon to the Welsh Centre for Plastic Surgery in 2003 and elected to the UK Specialist Register for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

I was awarded a Postgraduate Doctorate in Medicine after scientific research into human and scarless wound healing, and was appointed as Hunterian Professor by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2002, maintaining strong academic interests. I have been published widely in the Plastic Surgery literature, having authored many papers and book chapters. I lecture widely in Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery. I am a clinical tutor in Plastic Surgery for the University of Wales and am Programme Director for Plastic Surgery Specialist Training in Wales. I am the Regional Specialist Advisor for Plastic Surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

I am currently on the scientific committee of Aesthetics Today, a leading international cosmetic medicine meeting. I have appeared in the national and local press and have been interviewed as an opinion leader on television programmes such as The One Show.
