Mr Wilson qualified as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in South Africa in 1995. He worked for 22 years in the South African Military, where he gained valuable trauma experience. In 1999 he took up a job offer in the UAE, where he helped grew the Orthopaedic Department in a large state hospital. In 2004 he moved with his family to the UK, and has been working in Wrexham since the beginning of 2006. He has a keen interest in reconstructive surgery including hip and knee replacement surgery and knee arthroscopy surgery, and keeps current with latest research and developments in these fields.
Mr Wilson lives in Wrexham and is married with 3 adult children. He enjoys travel, photography, and all sport. He participates in golf as often as time allows.
