I graduated from Nottingham University in 1991 and trained in diabetes and endocrinology in Merseyside. I was a Clinical Lecturer in University Hospital Aintree from 1998 to 2000. I was awarded a DM (Doctor of Medicine) in 2001 from Nottingham University. In 2000, I was appointed consultant in diabetes and endocrinology at Whiston Hospital and in 2004, I moved to Wirral University Teaching Hospital and have been there since. My main clinical interests are in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
