    Mr Skinner was appointed Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics for the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 1989. Prior to this he had been on the Kings Surgical Rotation and also Locum Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia Perth Australia.
    He is a general Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a particular interest in joint replacement of hips, knees and shoulders. He has an extensive practice in shoulder surgery, his main sub specialist interest. The surgery he undertakes for the shoulder includes instability, impingement and joint replacement.
