Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital Open and Fully Functional

January 2010

Like many areas of Kent and the rest of the country Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital was hit by heavy snow fall. While for our in-patients this made for spectacular views across the hospital grounds it did mean that despite our best efforts, including members of our catering, ward, nursing and housekeeping team sleeping overnight at the hospital we did have to cancel some hospital out-patient appointments and theatre sessions.

The hospital did however stay open for all in-patients, with many staff battling though the snow to get here. The hospital would like to thank all members of staff who managed to get to the hospital and keep the hospital running.

The hospital is now fully open and re-booking all missed appointments. If you need to book an appointment and are worried about the conditions or would like to find out more information about the road conditions in and around the hospital please contact are customer service team on 01892 741 150.
